Meet the Nidderdale National Landscape Team

Our dedicated team works tirelessly to protect and enhance the beauty of Nidderdale National Landscape. Based in Pateley Bridge, we are a small but passionate group committed to serving the local community, visitors, and the wider public.

Our Roles and Responsibilities

  • Iain Mann, Manager: Oversees all operations and ensures our objectives are met.
  • Marian Wilby, Land Management Team Leader: Leads efforts in sustainable land management and works closely with landowners and farmers.
  • Sarah Kettlewell, Development Team Leader: Manages development projects and community engagement.
  • Kelly Harmar, Biodiversity Project Officer: Focuses on biodiversity initiatives and conservation projects.
  • Alice Crosby, Woodland Officer: Provides advice on woodland creation and management.
  • Charlotte Butterfield, Woodland Assistant: Supports woodland projects and initiatives.
  • Leanne Fox, Information Officer: Handles communications and public information.
  • Emma Coombs & Christy Irish, Beyond Nature Farming Officers: Work with farmers to promote nature-friendly farming practices.
  • Liz Milner, Volunteer Coordinator: Manages our dedicated volunteers and coordinates volunteering opportunities.
  • Matthew Trevelyan, Alison Metcalfe & Maisie Griffiths, Farming in Protected Landscapes Team: Support farmers and landowners through the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme.
  • Christy Irish, Wetlands Project Officer: Leads wetland restoration and creation projects.
  • Joseph Haywood, Grassland Officer: Provides advice on grassland management and restoration.
